A partir de una rigurosa investigaci\u00f3n hist\u00f3rica, el autor analiza las relaciones de poder entre los grupos sociales conocidos como mistis e indios, explicando c\u00f3mo estas interacciones configuraron la organizaci\u00f3n pol\u00edtica, econ\u00f3mica y social de la provincia antes, durante y despu\u00e9s de la Guerra del Pac\u00edfico.<br \/>El estudio examina aspectos fundamentales como:<\/p><ul><li>La realidad geogr\u00e1fica y demogr\u00e1fica<\/li><\/ul><p>M\u00e1s all\u00e1 de narrar hechos hist\u00f3ricos, esta obra invita al lector a reflexionar sobre las relaciones de poder, la desigualdad social, la organizaci\u00f3n de las comunidades y los procesos de resistencia que han marcado la historia de Huanta.<br \/>Con un s\u00f3lido respaldo documental y una perspectiva cr\u00edtica, Jos\u00e9 O.
